Do I get a makeup class when my child is absent?
Yes! We offer a makeup class for any absence and you may call or visit the office for scheduling. Students may do a makeup in any class within the same age group. Makeups are open to currently enrolled students only, do not expire (as long as the student is enrolled), have no cash value, and cannot be used in lieu of payment for classes. Makeups can be scheduled at either of our locations.
What should my child wear to class?
Gymsuits, shorts, t-shirts, and leggings are all acceptable. No crop tops, denim, belts, buckles, zippers, buttons, etc. please. Long hair must be tied back and no jewelry is permitted (except studs and sleeper earrings).
My schedule has changed. Can we switch to a different day?
As long as there is space in another class, you are welcome to transfer at any time. Class changes are free of charge, but must be in writing – please stop by the office or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your request.
What are my payment options?
Monthly payments are due on or before the 1st of each month. For any monthly fees not received by the 1st of the month, a $10 late fee will be assessed on the 2nd. All unprocessed payments will be subject to a $25 fee.
Autopay: You may choose automatic monthly withdrawals from a VISA, MasterCard, or bank account.
Manual payment: You may pay by VISA, MasterCard, cash, or Debit/Interac in the office.
Upon registration, we require your first month’s fees, along with a Gymnastics Ontario registration fee, plus all applicable taxes. Your G.O. fee is valid annually July 1-June 30, and must be renewed to continue into the following season.
How do I know which class to register my child in?
Classes are grouped by age, so the class will correspond with your child’s age group. An exception is our advanced classes. If a student has achieved Bronze or higher in our level system, he or she may join an advanced class. If you are not sure, please call our office and we would be happy to help you.
Why do we have to pay the registration fee each year?
Gymnastics Ontario and Taylar Gymnastics seasons run from July 1 to June 30 annually. Athletes, coaches, judges, and staff members all must be registered with Gymnastics Ontario in order to participate in any program. The fee covers insurance for any program, camp, event, or class at any Gymnastics Ontario affiliated club within that year. Do you accept payment from funding programs?
Yes, we accept payment from funding programs such as Jumpstart and Their Opportunity. To qualify for funding, your child(ren) must be enrolled with us and we require the first month fees and Gymnastics Ontario registration fee per child to enroll. From there, we can apply any funding received to subsequent months.
Taylar Gymnastics’ primary goal in collecting personal information is to improve your experience. We may use your personal information to contact you regarding your inquires or usage of our services, or to provide requested services to you. We will not collect any personal information from you unless you choose to provide it to us. Taylar Gymnastics will not sell any customer information.

We offer monthly or semi-monthly withdrawals from either a credit card (VISA or MasterCard) or bank account. You may also pay by cash or Debit/Interac in the office. Monthly payments are due on or before the 1st of each month (1st and 15th for semi-monthly). For any monthly fees not received by the 1st of the month, a $10 late fee will be assessed on the 2nd (and 16th for semi-monthly). All declined and unprocessed payments will be subject to a $25 fee. An additional $10 late fee is applied every 10 days a fee is overdue.

Monthly fees are calculated based on a full-year program, then divided into 12 equal installments. We do not reduce tuition for months with stat holidays or raise tuition for months with five classes. The yearly fee has taken these circumstances into consideration. This allows our families the flexibility of switching classes at anytime without penalty and billing consistency.
Makeup Classes and Withdrawals
Makeup Classes: Taylar Gymnastics will issue each active member a makeup for any missed classes. Makeups must be used while still currently enrolled in the recreational program, are non-transferable, and have no cash value. Makeups cannot be used in lieu of payment for classes. To schedule a makeup class, please contact our office. Please contact us in advance if you need to reschedule a makeup class.
Withdrawals: To withdraw from a program at Taylar Gymnastics, we require 7 days written notice (by e-mail or through a withdrawal form in the office).
In the case of an early recreational withdrawal, Taylar Gymnastics will refund any tuition that has been pre-paid for that month, less the 7 days written notice period. This will only apply if the rest of the account is up to date and in good standing.
Taylar Gymnastics does not issue refunds for: 1) Gymnastics Ontario registration fee, 2) unused makeup classes, 3) statutory holidays, or 4) classes cancelled due to weather, power outage, or other means beyond our control. In the case of stat holidays and facility closures, a makeup class will be provided to replace the missed class.
